This is how we do journalism at LexxWire. Short version: two sources minimum, humans in charge, mistakes fixed fast.

Sourcing

  • Every factual claim in a news story must be backed by at least two independent, credible sources — major outlets, company statements, regulatory filings, or primary documents.
  • We link to or name our sources. If a claim comes from a single source, we say so explicitly.
  • We never fabricate quotes, statistics, dates, or events. If we can’t verify it, we don’t publish it.

AI use

We’re upfront about this: we use AI tools to help research and draft stories. But AI doesn’t decide what’s true here. Every story is reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by a person before publication. If AI output can’t be verified against real sources, it gets cut.

Corrections

We get things wrong sometimes. When we do:

  1. We fix the story as fast as we can.
  2. For material errors, we add a correction note at the bottom saying what changed.
  3. For small fixes — typos, grammar, formatting — we just fix them.

What we won’t do

  • Pay-for-play: We don’t accept money, gifts, or favors for coverage. Sponsored content, if we ever run it, will be labeled as such — clearly, not in fine print.
  • Rewriting press releases: Company announcements get covered when they’re newsworthy, with context and independent reporting — not copy-pasted.
  • Removing true stories: We don’t take down accurate reporting because someone with leverage dislikes it.
  • Presenting opinion as news: Analysis is labeled as analysis. News is news.

Independence

LexxWire isn’t owned by any tech company we cover. Our editorial calls are made by editors, not advertisers or business partners.
