Nvidia Wants to Put AI Agents on a Leash — Its New Open Safety Platform
Nvidia announced the Open Agent Safety Platform on Sept. 28, 2026 — an open software platform and reference design to keep AI agents under control from testing to deployment. It enforces governance across software, hardware and compute, and robotics, with a component called Sentry that can quarantine agents the moment they step outside their boundaries.
