Google Just Locked In 3.6 Gigawatts of Nuclear Power for AI
Google has contracted for 3,590 megawatts of power from Constellation Energy, the largest US nuclear operator, with about a quarter coming from new nuclear capacity added to 11 existing reactors, the companies announced October 6, 2026.
