Google Is Launching AI Chips Into Orbit on October 1
Google said on September 24 that its Project Suncatcher prototype satellite “MVP” will fly on SpaceX’s Transporter-18 rideshare mission, currently targeting October 1 from Vandenberg Space Force Base, to test whether its AI chips can survive launch, radiation, and the thermal realities of space.
